Tlhogi Mabena wins prize at SANI Symposium

The Young Researcher’s Symposium is hosted annually by the SANI Student Chapter. It gives young researchers a platform to showcase their research. SANI, together with the South African Agency for Science and Technology Advancement (SAASTA), sponsors the event aimed at motivating and encouraging young researchers and promoting networking amongst them.TLHOGIsani

This year the event was held on 14 October at the Vaal University of Technology. Students from Wits University, University of Johannesburg, Tshwane University of Technology, Vaal University of Technology and North West University made oral presentations at the symposium.

Mrs Tlhogi Mabena, a PhD student at NCNSM, won the third prize in the PhD category at the Symposium.
